Today was the day that Jesse and I became husband and wife. *sight* that just sounds too good coming out. We got
married by court and as we were asked to exchange words, I totally chocked up. I couldn’t get the words
out because I was so happy. Hasn’t that ever happened to you?
Anyways, the Church wedding will be in the Summer of 2011 (next year) YAY!!! Planning is much more
difficult than I could of imagined.
Thank You guys so much for congratulating us! It means a lot. I hope you all of you continue to follow

A Weekend full of Blessings

My wonderful weekend began on Thursday after I got out of my observational drawing class. I came home to the BIGEST surprise of my life! Jesse (my fiancé, LOL. I love presenting him as such now haha) Proposed to me!! Yes girls (& boys) yours truly is getting married!!! Wow, so many exclamation points right. Well, what I say, I’m super exited. A girl has been waiting. It makes me feel so good to know that I’m starting my own little family, Izek, Jesse, Chanel, Gismoe, and I. So Jesse and I decided to get
married in a courthouse some time soon and have a wedding by church in June or July of next year. With that being said, I’m already putting a few mood boards together of my dream weddings. I want to go all out and make our wedding the most beautiful day in our lives.
celebrated on Saturday. A few weeks before, Ivette (my sister) and I planned to surprise my Dad with a Mariachi band. (He had always wanted one since he turned 50 four years ago.) Anyway, needless to say that this was the most beautiful gift he ever received. He was so happy he even cried, which made all of us cry. He spent all night singing and dancing, like the happiest man in the world. The night was perfect; I spent it with the people I love most and my closest friends (Maribel and Sonia). I was glad they were both able to make it. Even Sonia because she drove down from an 1hr 1/2 away! Exceptional drives must I add because she got here hella quick. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed my little weekend recap.

Here I was a Target yesterday doing our baby registry for the baby shower next month. Yes, baby showers are suppose to be a surprise which is why I don’t know the exact date it’s going to happen. But anyway, we went to Target to pick out a few things we really wanted for Izek. The time is near and I still have so MUCH to do before he arrives. Hopefully we can move and get settled in with in the next 4 months. I still don’t know if I want to create a nursery for him. I can’t bear the fact that he will be sleeping in a whole different room, so maybe I’ll just place the crib next to our bed.
The lovely ladies at Annie & Isabel were kind enough to send me two hospital gowns. Aren’t these adorable? I chose the zebra print and to my surprise, they also sent me the pink polka dotted one.
I already know Jesse is going to be snapping pictures of me during my stay at the hospital. And now I’m going to be in some cute little hospital gowns instead of those dreadful blue things the hospital gives you. A Typical Fall Day

Pregnancy Updates @ 24 weeks (6th Month)
- Major lower back pains.
- Stuffy left ear. Super annoying. I can’t hear my self speak.
- I can no longer sleep on my back. I bought this amazing “J” shaped pillow a few
months ago, it gives my body the perfect balance. I also sleep on my left side
with an extra pillow in between my knees.
- Total weight gain- 16 LBS (20-25 LBS was my recommended weight gain)
I was 89 pounds when I got pregnant and now I’m 105. So far so good.
- A lot of uncontrollable emotions. I get sad and scared a lot but I also feel happier
than usual.
- I can feel and see Izek move like a little monkey, now more than ever. The feeling
is strong and he always does it when I’m laying or sitting down.
- You can finally see my belly popping out. Which now leads to people staring.
Case in point, today at the mall.
- Boobs are bigger! Woo Hoo!!!!
- Thighs are bigger! Another woo hoo!
- No stretch marks….so far
- Jeans no longer fit around the waist.
Anyway this is everything I have been experiencing so far. Besides the lower back
pains, I love EVERYTHING about being pregnant. I never knew how beautiful it really
is.
