My closet/office is a place for me to get away from all of the daily ruckus. I made sure I made it a place that inspires me constantly and motivates me to step outside of my comfort zone when it comes to fashion.
I come here to design, dance, blog, film, and get ready for my day.
This room in the house use to be our garage. It was then inclosed with new walls, lighting, and hard wood floors. It was perfect for me because I could now have my office and closet in one room as apposed to having it upstairs in two different rooms. My husband took over the other room which was my closet before and turned it into the “Jesse and Izek Man Cave” which I’m not allowed to go in..LOL…the other room which was my office is now being turned into a guest bedroom. I’m nowhere near done with this room but I figured I should show it now since it was clean and some what organized. I’ve been enjoying this room so much because I feel like I’m going shopping everyday that I get dressed in the morning.

This looks like a Dulce Candy, Candyland, how happy you must be when you look around at your “Cloffice” and feel inspired to do all the things you do. I am inspired by your space as well. I love the way you have your life organized in such a beautiful way. My husband and I just moved into our very first house that is one hundred years old — that’s super old for us West-Coasters! Anyways, we’re in that awkward stage of trying to figure out where everything’s “place” is. My makeup is overflowing from my vanity to the nightstand, to the bathroom drawers, surfaces, and cabinets. I even have some stored in various closets around the house. The main makeup I use, I keep in Juicy Couture boxes. My husband says he’s going to get rid of the stuff in other areas if I can’t find a way to contain it (yikes — he hasn’t been quite trained yet — we’re only 6 months married). I was wondering where you bought your beautiful drawers that you used to store your makeup and belts. They were gorgeous and just the look I’m trying to convey in our house — lots of whites, mixing new with vintage. Anyways, I find you very inspiring — that a woman as tough as you (you have to be pretty tough to get through Afghanistan, in my opinion) can feel free being feminine. I think you are an inspiration to all strong women. I, myself, have been trying to figure out a way I can inspire those around me. I live in the Portland, Oregon area – known as one of the worst dressed places in the United States, and it can be pretty hard for some of my friends to feel feminine when we have to bury ourselves under layers of North Faces, thermal underwear, and boots just to rush from the car to the office
