DIY: Faux Leather Circle Skirt

Today I want to share with you my latest video on Youtube. As you guys know, I’m posting new videos every Tuesday and Friday and I get very excited because I just simply love it.
In this video I’ll be showing you how easy it is to create your own faux leather circle skirt. Dyed leather is HUGE (believe it or not) this summer so I thought it would be a great idea to incorporate this trend in a very accessible way.
No major skill required because the fabric doesn’t need any hemming and it won’t fray on you! Anyway, enjoy the tutorial and if you guys get a chance to DIY it, send me your picture to be featured on my blog! XOXO

PS: If your sewing skill are on point, add some pleating to the skirt for more movement!

Finally had a chance to get out this morning and run a few errands so I decided to dress up “a bit”. I went with this simple maxi dress which is one of my most recent purchases from Target. The dress is thick, soft, and comfy so it’s the perfect dress to run around town and get things accomplished. I wore my Jimmy Choo platforms with this dress because they are the only ones that give me crazy height and comfort at the same time. They did take some time to get use though because when I first bought them I kept rolling my ankles every step I took.

Outfit of the Day: Denim Cool

This afternoon I wanted to share with you a look I wore last Saturday to a family BBQ. It’s been over a week but I figured better late than never, right?
I also wanted to mention that I am going to be uploading a new video on my Youtube channel every Tuesday and Friday. Hopefully I can squeeze two VLOGS too. I’m trying to organize myself a little better so I can have a set schedule you guys can rely on since I know Youtube sometimes doesn’t update everyone with my new videos.
Oh and since I got a lot of good feedback on my last blog makeup review, I will also be doing more of those here. Any advice on how I can improve my reviews I would really appreciate. Thank you guys! XO

Mini Review: Wet N’ Wild MegaLast Liquid Lip Color + Swatches

This product caught my attention a few days ago at my local CVS drugstore. I was intrigued because it claimed to have super stay power. Well that’s certainly true, but I was more disappointed than pleased. The application was creamy and it glide with ease. A few minutes after, it dried to a matte finish.

Pro’s:
- Price: $2.99
- Great if you’re going to the beach or pool and you want your lip color to stay on all day. It will NOT come off easily. These lip colors won’t even budge with makeup remover. You literally have to scrub it off! (This could be a con to some).
- Won’t transfer at all.
- Works great if applied lightly (dabbed on). Creates a nice stain.
- Intense color.

Con’s:
- Dries lips.
- Cracks.
- Hard to apply evenly.
- Could dry blotchy when applied thick.

* Wear a lip balm before applying these lippies so you don’t tear or crack your lips when it’s time to take it off.*

Overall I rate this product a 3. I don’t love it and I don’t hate it.
Would I purchase these again? No, but I do like them enough to finish the ones I bought.

Pro’s
- Price: $7 @ Walmart. 8.79 + FREE shipping if purchased via CoverGirl’s website. (It’ll redirect you to Amazon)
- Easy to blend with pretty much any foundation tool.
- Soft and airy feeling.
- Available in 10 shades. (I’m Medium Beige 342)
- Lasted all day with out getting oily.
- Satin almost matte finish.
- Light to full coverage in my opinion.
- Conceals blemishes pretty well.
- No touch ups in between the day.

Con’s
- The only thing I noticed was that around 1 hour after the application process the makeup started to cake up around my nostrils. I think it was because I went a little heavy with the first layer around my nose so I would suggest that if you want to build up coverage start with very thin coats at a time.

I want to know if you guys love or hate this new foundation.I got some comments in my Instagram account from some of you that didn’t like it and I would love to know why.

90′s Flashback

Hello there and Happy Tuesday babes! First of all, SORRY for being gone almost a week from my blog and Youtube. I honestly had one of those “I need a break” moments and decided to take a break from editing and all that jazz. I did still film and take pictures for my blog and channel because I love what I do. I just find the editing process of it all so BORING! Anyway, I posted a little glimpse of this look a few days back on my Instagram, so if you follow me there you’re more likely to get previews of upcoming posts and videos.
I was (and still am) a huge fan of overalls/coveralls since I was a little girl in the 90′s. I surprisingly wore them the most during the early 2000′s in high school. They where the big trend in my 9th and 10th grade year in school. Now they’ve made a huge comeback, especially in Europe. To pull this look off you have to have a very rugged look, like you just rolled out of bed and threw these on. Next time I’ll make sure to have bed hair and a pair of old Converse with a cute but plain snapback to change the look just a tad. I bought mine from Zara because I wanted to make sure I bought a pair that would last me another 10 years.

PS: Also try rocking a bandeau or cropped top underneath for sex appeal!
