Tutorial: Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar by Too Faced Look

Today’s makeup tutorial is a simple-yet-sultry neutral eye look that I created with the NEW Too Faced Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar palette.

Step 1: Prime lids to ensure colors remain vibrant all day long.

Step2: Apply Mousse with a blending brush on the crease and brow bone.

Step 3: Apply Cocoa Chili along the crease and the lower lash line, then blend with a fluffy brush to smoke it out.

Step 4: Apply Caramel on the center of the eyelid to highlight and brighten.

Step 5: Create a dramatic wing with liquid liner.

Step 6: Finish by applying a few coats of Better than Sex Mascara!

Thank you for stopping by. Hope you enjoyed this easy step-by-step tutorial!

Outfit of the Day: Signs of Fall

There’s nothing like frisky cold afternoon that signals the correct season. I took full advantage and wore my old Bronx over-the-knee boots and a warm and cozy new scarf from Target. It’s really become a fall favorite this year! I matched my lipstick with the red-ish thread in the scarf as the final ‘accessories’ to pull the entire look together.

New Smashbox Be Legendary Lip Lacquer + Always Sharp Lip Liners w/ OOTD

Hey guys! Today I bring to you a fashion and beauty post!
Smashbox recently released a new collection of lip products including the Be Legendary Long-Wear Lip Lacquer and the Always Sharp Lip Liners. I swatched a few of my favorites here on the blog, but there’s definitely a lot more shades for you guys to choose from. I wanted you guys to see the pigmentation. In this post, I’m currently rocking the ‘Violet’ lip liner completely filled in (which gives you a nice matte finish) topped of with the “After Dark’ lip lacquer to deepen up the look.
One thing I’ve never seen before on a lip liner that was pretty interesting, was the built it sharpener (which you can’t even see) that always keeps your liner sharp! It’s a small detail that makes a huge difference on those days when we don’t want to fondle through our make-up drawers looking for a sharpener. I really loved that! It’s inside the cap and sharpens when you twist the lip liner on and off.

Also, a good cause in effect right now is the “Create a Gif, Give a Gift” campaign in which Smashbox will donate a product to for every gif that’s created to the Look Good Feel Better, an organization dedicated to making
people who are undergoing treatment for cancer look and feel better.
You Can create your own Gif here!
Can’t wait to see it!

And just as a brief over-view, I wanted to give you guys my first initial impression.

For this outfit it all started out with the faux leather pleated skirt that I wear at least once every fall season. I wanted to have a few subtle contrasts in this look, which is why I went with a sweater material cropped top that had graphics all over it and a diamond incrested necklace. I then paired it with my trusted and ever so comfortable laced up heels and a bright red bag for a pop of color! Last but not least, I added a dark lip as my final accessories for this look. It gives it a sort of gothic- chic vibe with out being over the top and I loved it. That’s one thing I love about fall, the dark lips start to come out!

Get Ready With Me For A Summer Night Out!

Summer is my favorite time of the year because there’s nothing better than a warm summer night!
I love to wear clothes that easily transition from day wear to night wear with the change of accessories. The outfit that I’m wearing is a beautiful romper c/o Kardashian Kollection. You can wear this during the day for some afternoon shopping with sandals and change into wooden platforms for a summer night dinner or event like I did here.

My hair was kept easy and minimal. I created waves with a large wand from the Curl Jam set form NuMe and tied a small section of hair around the crown. I then sprayed it with a flexible hold hairspray to lock in the waves. The cool thing about the waves is that they last for a few days. I love to add texturizing balm on my ends the following morning for a beachy, messy look.

Since the look is for a night out, I went with a little bit more makeup than I usually would during the day. I used this AMAZING new clay foundation by Tarte Cosmetics which gave my skin full coverage, yet it was still light and breathable. I then added a summer glow using the Benefit Watts Up! highlighter down the bridge of my nose and my cheekbones. For my lips, I went with a magenta shade lip color to match the small flowers on my romper and that pretty much completed the look.
